Here is the happy couple! Chris, the groom, is on the left, with Katherine and her brother Nathan. This was taken in the waiting room they have outside the temple.
Here we are at the family dinner, right after the temple sealing!
We were taking tons of pics of the bride, and so as Chris stood back watching, I got a cute shot of him too!
My sister, Sarah and I with Chris and Katherine
Katherine and I!
My two cute aunts! Mother of the bride on the left, Aunt Bev. And supportive sister on the right, Aunt Sharan!
Camellia played the violin, while the newlyweds danced their first dance! So original!
Katherine explained why she chose the song that they danced to!
Chris shared a few words of gratitude.Very sweet!
In the center of the gym they had this beautiful dessert table! I loved it! The idea was great and also the presentation was spectacular!!
The little cupcakes were so adorable AND delicious!!!
The guest-book table
The flowers at all the tables! I guess they just got the roses from Costco and had a friend put all the bouuquets together! Brilliant and beautiful!!
The flowers at the food table
A beautiful quilt that the twins and Aunt Bev made in honor of their Grandma Smith who "would have" made her a quilt for the wedding! (Read the sign Katherine wrote)
Here's what the sign on the quilt says...
Katherine's beautiful bouquet!
Here is my sweet cousin Kamille, who`s married to my cousin Paul. And sadly I didn`t get a picture of Paul! Weird! Anyway, they have three beautiful daughters, this is Kyndel.....I sure hope I spelled it right, I think I always mess it up! Sorry! It was fun to visit with them all day, although it didn`t seem like long enough. But we did have some interesting conversations!!!! Good memories!
Here is my Uncle Ian holding the other two girls, Elliette (on the left) and baby Dawsyn on the right!
Okay...I LOVE this picture, and I LOVE this baby! Dawsyn has this funny look, and makes these ``crazy eyes``! It`s enough to brighten your day and put a smile on anyone`s face!!! She is just SO cute!
When Dawsyn smiles, the eyes smile too! She just so cute!!!
Now here is Kyndal doing her impression of Dawsyn`s ``crazy eyes`` Hilarious!!!!
While in Cardston we had a day to visit all my cousins and family on the Woolf side. We dropped in to visit my wonderful cousin, Natalie, and hung out with her 6 kids! They are all such great kids! This is me and Bethany, who's now 12 and in YW's!!! Wow! I remember her being a little toddler at my wedding! Time sure flies!
Little Noelle with the new baby, Joseph! I'd never met him before and he was SOOO adorable! Just a lot of him to love!!! These pics of all my cousins kids are mostly for Laura to see......the kids change and grow so much between visits!
Here is Rigdon with his little brother Joseph!!!!!
Little Katherine was sick, but then again it seemed that EVERYONE in Cardston was sick!!! Every family house had some sort of contagious sickness...and I guess Natalie's was the least.
For dinner one night my cousin Deborah cooked dinner for Sarah and I at my cousin Becky's house...but Becky and Marty were out of town, so we ate with my aunt Gayla and Uncle Terry! First of all it was THE MOST AMAZING meal EVER!!! I had no idea Deb was such a great cook! And EVERYTHING was from scratch!! YUM! So this is Deb's little girl, Jenna, and Becky's little girl, Katie! Cute little friends!
Here is sweet Katie introducing me the adorable family dog!!! I had to take picutres of him just to show my nephew Jake....why? Cause the DOG'S name is JAKE TOO!!!! :)
This was just the cutest dog ever!!! I totally fell in love with him!!! It's kinda funny, cause I used to have a dog, but after that, I swore I'd never have one again! BUT.....I'd actually think about it......if only I could have "Jake!"
Sarah, my dad and I went to go visit Grandma Woolf a couple times while we were there. She is so beautiful and fun to talk to. We now have to introduce ourselves to her, even my dad. He said, ``Hi mom, it`s Gordon, your son!`` And she said,``Well, you can be if you want to!`` She`s hilarious! It`s good to see her though, and know she`s taken care of.
Overall, the trip was short, but absulutely sweet! It`s the shortest trip I`ve ever made up there, and funny how we never even got up to Calgary! Weird! But it was nice to be ``home`` and I`m glad things all worked out! Again...I look forward to going up again in December for another wedding! Let`s just hope the weather stays good for us....Heading to Canada is always an adventure! And this trip was just that!
